Our company, Angang Subsidiary Enterprise Company(ASEC for short), is capable of providing services for continuous casting slabs with an annual output of 80 million metric tons. The key technique is introduced from a German-US joint venture, the Millcraft SMS Services. With the process of proprietary box type and all Ni-Co alloy electroplating, a low-stress alloy-plated layer is formed and different plating thickness and hardness can be obtained at different places, so that it can better meet the requirement in continuous casting operations and can make the service life of mold plates longer. In normal operation, the copper plate can last for more than 200000 metric tons of billets or slabs for one off electroplating. All the technical specifications of the product are in conformity with the standards for products of the same type in Germany and the U.S. Such products have been used in Ansteel, Benxi Steel, Capital Steel, Tangshan Steel, Jinnan Steel, Lingyuan Steel, Baotou Steel, Tonghua Steel, Qianan Steel, Tangshan Guofeng Steel, Xiangtan Steel, etc. This product was once adopted by Tangshan Steels Sheet Mill in the production line of the mold of its CSP continuous casting machines imported from Daneli, Italy, making the localization of copper plate plating realized.
